Himes Breakfast House, a popular locally owned brunch spot, is opening its newest location in Riverview at 11220 Sullivan St. on Tuesday, July 1. Known for its chef-crafted takes on Southern-inspired morning fare, Himes is expanding its footprint in Florida with what will be its third restaurant in the state.
Located just off Bloomingdale Avenue near the Rosemary Fountain, the new spot will serve Himes’ signature lineup of breakfast, brunch, and lunch classics, including scratch-made syrups, homemade batters, and unique twists on comfort food favorites.
Himes adds something special to Tampa’s morning routine
“We started Himes to bring something special to Florida’s breakfast scene, and we’ve been honored by the community’s response since day one,” said co-founder John Christen. “Riverview has the heart and energy we look for, and we can’t wait to welcome everyone to their new favorite breakfast spot.”
Inside, the space is designed to feel welcoming and personal. The dining room features family-style touches such as a toy chest for young guests and vintage photos highlighting the history of the Tampa Bay area. The menu showcases cage-free eggs, thick-cut bacon, specialty roasted coffee, and house-made hollandaise—all crafted with attention to detail and a focus on quality.
