Saturday’s St. Pete Pride parade included hundreds of thousands of revelers lining Bayshore Drive on the downtown waterfront, and the party continued the day after for a Sunday street festival and market. Mother Nature, however, had other plans and dropped the wet stuff on St. Pete.
That was not an issue, however, and organizers were somehow ready with loads of live music including a set from Martha Wash, one half of appropriately-named disco duo The Weather Girls. The 71-year-old icon was joined by luminaries of the local scene, including the Bay area’s bearded queen Adriana Sparkle, who was among those keeping the party going outside Central Avenue’s Mari Jean Hotel and its pool bar The Wet Spot…
