TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) — Crowds piled into Sparkman Wharf Friday for the Star Spangled Sparkman 4th of July celebration.
People wearing red, white, and blue geared up for what they hoped to be an event filled day. Some traveled far, like one man from Georgia.
Lightning strike sets Florida fireworks display off early
“We’re just here visiting for the first time. Pulled information off the website, and decided we’ll come down. When I see the fireworks, it will feel more like the 4th, but very pleasant — we’re enjoying ourselves,” said George Monts.
