‘My heart goes out to them’: New Port Richey neighbors react to missing 6-year-old found dead

PASCO COUNTY, Fla. (WFLA) — A New Port Richey community is reeling the loss of a six-year-old boy who was found dead Friday morning after he was reported missing Thursday night.

According to the Pasco County Sheriff’s Department, Cory Chester, 6, of Pasco County was last seen Thursday, July 10 around 8:45 p.m.

At 1:08 a.m. Friday, July 11, authorities said Chester had been located. Chester was reported deceased around 10 a.m. later that morning.
