Pairs of checkered shoes are making waves at a Wesley Chapel hospital

WESLEY CHAPEL, Fla. — When a doctor steps into the room with a patient, it’s often right to business. But Dr. Jayson Sack has found a way to connect on a more friend-like level.

“I just love, you would say his bedside manner,” said Jevonta Barginere, a patient of Dr. Sack’s for six years. “It makes you feel like family. It’s not just like I’m a patient just walking in. He’s like, he really cares about you.”
