Tampa Man Sentenced to Decade-Plus for Firing Gun at Apartment Complex
TAMPA, Fla. – A federal judge has handed down a prison sentence to a Tampa man for illegally possessing a firearm and ammunition as a convicted felon, stemming from a 2022 shooting incident. U.S. District Judge Virginia M. Hernandez Covington sentenced Milton Anthony Bradshaw, 45, to 10 years and 5 months in federal prison after a federal jury found him guilty in March 2025.
The conviction follows an investigation into an early morning altercation on September 20, 2022, at the Manchester Apartments in Tampa.
According to evidence presented at trial, Bradshaw engaged in an argument with three unknown individuals. As the individuals attempted to leave in their car, Bradshaw retrieved a firearm and concealed himself behind a dumpster in the parking lot. He then opened fire on their vehicle as they drove away…
