Tampa Fire Rescue is celebrating a new cohort of firefighters ready to serve. According to their recent social media post, 29 students from Class 2025-01 have completed their training at Aparicio-Levy Technical College and are now graduates of the Fire Academy program. Tuesday’s event showcased an outpouring of support, with family, friends, and leaders such as Fire Chief Barbara Tripp and Principal Jesse Saulters in attendance to witness the occasion. The graduates were recognized for their commitment and achievements, a solid step into the ranks of Florida’s firefighting brigade.
The Academy is known to thoroughly train cadets, teaching them not just how to fight fires, but also rapidly to adapt to the myriad emergencies they will face.
