PALM HARBOR, Fla. (WFLA) — Two sanitary sewer manholes in Palm Harbor began spilling out sewage Friday morning due to a blockage, the Florida Department of Enviromental Protection said.
Officials estimated that 15,000 gallons of sewage — enough to fill an in-ground swimming pool — overflowed from the manholes.

The spill began near Lake St. George Drive and then went into a storm drain that flows into a detention pond. The pond leads to Lake St. George, according to the DEP.
