TAMPA, Fla. — Beginning in the new school year, Tampa Police and the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office will implement speed cameras in various school zones.
The cameras were signed into law in 2023 and allow local law enforcement to control speed by using cameras while schools are in session.
