The best sandwiches in America are in Tampa. That’s not just us talking—a new Yelp list highlighting the 100 Best Sandwich Spots in America heavily featured businesses in the Tampa area. This is a city that takes sammies seriously, partly because we are (maybe) the birthplace of the revered Cuban sandwich.
In total, two Tampa businesses made the list, along with another spot worth the short trip to Riverview. Several other Florida cities, including Palm Beach Gardens, Sunrise, and Deerfield Beach, were also represented.
My own personal favorites, Flan Factory and Supernatural Food & Wine, weren’t featured on this specific list, so I’ll take the aggregated results with a pinch of salt.
