Florida Shooting Suspect Arrested After Tense Standoff In Parking Lot

A Florida man is facing charges after allegedly shooting at two apartment complex employees and engaging in a tense standoff with law enforcement in the parking lot on Wednesday.

The Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office said deputies responded at around 9:59 a.m. Wednesday to a report of an “erratic” man at the apartment complex on the 2300 block of Campus Club Court in Tampa. Responding deputies learned the suspect, 29-year-old Andrew Tsinkelis, had allegedly fired multiple shots at a golf cart occupied by the apartment manager and assistant manager, shattering the glass and injuring one of the occupants.

Tsinkelis then barricaded himself inside his vehicle in the parking lot, and allegedly exhibited “threatening behavior,” including repeatedly pointing the firearm at his own head…
