Plant City Driver’s Evasive Maneuvers Lead To Arrest On I-4 In Polk County

Plant City Man with Suspended License Faces Reckless Driving and DWLSR Charges

POLK COUNTY, Fla. – A deputy’s patrol on Interstate 4 resulted in the arrest of a Plant City man with a history of driving offenses, after he was observed making erratic and evasive maneuvers to avoid a traffic stop.

On Wednesday, July 30th, at approximately 12:50 pm, a Polk County Sheriff’s Office (PCSO) deputy was on patrol when he noticed a red Ford Mustang with a missing rear bumper. As the deputy got behind the vehicle, the Mustang began to make a series of rapid and sudden lane changes without signaling. The deputy reported that the driver’s actions were so abrupt that another vehicle, a van, was forced to brake to avoid a collision.

The deputy activated his emergency lights to initiate a traffic stop. The driver of the Mustang, however, continued to make several more sudden lane changes before finally pulling over. The driver was identified as 23-year-old Tyler Bullard of Plant City…
