TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) — A Tampa Police Department officer who was shot in the leg while on duty was released from the hospital late Thursday evening.
On Wednesday, Master Police Officer Jordan Laupert, 40, was assigned to patrol duty at a TPD district building near Busch Gardens when the suspect approached him and the two had what was described as “a cordial conversation.”
