Repeat Offender Received Enhanced Penalty for Supplying Co-Defendants in Drug Conspiracy
TAMPA, Fla. – A federal judge has sentenced Daniel Vega Cabrera, a 42-year-old Tampa resident, to 10 years in prison for his role in a cocaine distribution ring. Vega Cabrera pleaded guilty in March 2025 to possession with intent to distribute cocaine and conspiracy to commit the same offense.
According to court documents, the investigation began in July 2023 when an undercover Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office deputy started purchasing cocaine from Joseph White. The probe eventually identified Vega Cabrera and Jose Pabon as White’s suppliers.
