On June 6, Sara Román began operating the Notary Kiosk, a yellow trailer next to the Hillsborough County Courthouse in downtown Tampa. She chose that location for its proximity to public transportation and the courthouse, making it easier for her clients to access her services. The opening was modest.
“I started this with just $73,” she said.
