TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) — The Tampa Police Department is urging drivers to make the “smart choice” and drive sober as its DUI unit carries out high-visibility enforcement operations.
The effort has been ongoing and will continue through the end of August. Some drivers, like a woman who was stopped on Aug. 1, have already found themselves “chilling” at the county jail, police said.
