TAMPA, Fla. — Neighbors on Leila Street in Tampa woke up to some relief Wednesday morning, as city crews rolled in with heavy equipment to tackle drainage ditches that have long worried residents.
“I saw the trucks going down the street this morning, and I was wondering what was going on, and it’s very exciting to come home to this,” neighbor Mindy Harris said. “It is nice to see them in your space.”
