VOLUSIA COUNTY, Fla. – A 18-year-old man who was 16 when he was charged as an adult in a spring break gun scare on New Smyrna Beach has been sentenced to eight years in prison, according to the office of State Attorney R.J. Larizza.
Felixander Solis-Guzman, of Lakeland, was sentenced Thursday afternoon to eight years in prison followed by five years of probation after pleading no contest to three counts of aggravated assault on a law enforcement officer, in-state delinquent in possession of a firearm, possession of a firearm during any felony, possession of cannabis with intent to sell, improper exhibition of a firearm, resisting an officer with violence and two counts of tampering with evidence, a news release states.
