Tampa’s food scene is about to get a major upgrade. Dog Haus, the nationally recognized gourmet hot dog and burger concept, is preparing to open its first Tampa location in late 2025 or early 2026. An exact address has not yet been announced, but excitement is already building for the arrival of this California-born brand.
The upcoming restaurant will be owned and operated by franchisees Livingston and Terri Chatman, according to WFLA, marking their first Dog Haus location. Known for its creative menu and high-quality ingredients, Dog Haus has built a loyal following across the country since opening its first restaurant in Pasadena, California, in 2010. This may be a new go-to spot for those who consider themselves champion eaters.
What to expect on the Dog Haus menu
Dog Haus is best known for its Haus Dogs—premium all-beef hot dogs served on grilled King’s Hawaiian rolls—but the menu doesn’t stop there. Guests can also enjoy handcrafted sausages, 100% Creekstone Farms Black Angus burgers, and a wide selection of plant-based proteins from Impossible Foods and Beyond Meat.
Each item is made to order and can be customized with a variety of toppings, or diners can choose from signature creations crafted by the brand’s Würstmacher, Adam Gertler. In addition to hot dogs and burgers, Dog Haus has gained national recognition for its commitment to using hormone-free, antibiotic-free, and humanely raised meats.

Founded by Hagop Giragossian, Quasim Riaz, and Andre Vener, Dog Haus launched in 2010 with “a vision of elevating comfort food favorites through quality ingredients and culinary creativity,” according to the company’s website.
