WESLEY CHAPEL, Fla. (WFLA) — A Wesley Chapel man is now facing a felony charge after an Instagram scavenger hunt quickly took a turn for the worse.
On August 24, a state trooper spotted a Toyota Corolla traveling at a high speed on State Road 56, where the speed limit is 55 mph. The trooper activated his radar, which measured the car’s speed at 85 mph.

In an arrest report from the Florida Highway Patrol, the trooper said the Toyota then increased its speed and took a right turn so quickly that the driver temporarily lost control of the vehicle and the back fishtailed.
