TAMPA, Fla. — More than half a million people in five counties make up the Diocese of St. Petersburg. Church leaders say as that number grows, so does the need for more Catholic schools.
It has been 10 years since the Diocese of St. Petersburg built a new school, but recently they broke ground on a new facility in Ruskin. They say this is to help meet the needs of families in South Hillsborough County.
