Pastor speaks out after arrest of church leaders at center of federal investigation

TAMPA, Fla. — There are new allegations against the self-described religious leaders at the center of a multi-million dollar federal investigation. One week after a raid in Tampa, Detroit, St. Louis and North Carolina, a pastor said the leaders of the Kingdom of God Global Church harassed her when she refused to join them.

Sharell Barrera started a Facebook group for self-identified victims of David E. Taylor and his accused second-in-command, Michelle Brannon, which now has more than 150 members.

“There have been several women who have said that he promised them cars, homes,” she said. “He would send them pictures. He told several different women that they were his wife. Many people were threatened. Some people had their lives threatened.”…
