TAMPA, Fla. — A 36-year-old Texas man was arrested for driving under the influence after being involved in a deadly crash on Gandy Boulevard in St. Pete early Saturday morning, according to Florida Highway Patrol.
FHP said the Texas man, identified as Robert Chase Self, was traveling eastbound on Gandy Boulevard in a Chevy Silverado at 3:05 a.m. when he hit a 43-year-old St. Pete man at the 4th Street North intersection.
