6 arrested, 2.7 pounds of fentanyl seized in Pasco County drug trafficking operation

TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) — Six people were arrested and over 2.7 pounds of fentanyl seized after an investigation into a narcotics drug trafficking organization in Tampa this week.

According to a release, the Florida Department of Law Enforcement, along with the Pasco Sheriff’s Office, launched the investigation in June after FDLE agents received a tip regarding an individual in Pasco County who was allegedly trafficking narcotics.
