Records: Clearwater mayor’s son arrested for DUI with BAC almost twice legal limit

CLEARWATER, Fla. — Clearwater police arrested the mayor’s son earlier this month after he was allegedly driving while under the influence.

Officers pulled over Trevor Rector, 25, just after 10 p.m. on Sept. 1 after he was going almost 60 mph in a 40 mph speed zone, according to the traffic citation.
