Hillsborough County Teen Brothers Arrested in Firearms and Drug Investigation

HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY, FL — Following a multi-week investigation into firearm-related offenses, the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office (HCSO) Gun Intelligence Working Group arrested two juvenile brothers on multiple charges.

Jose Torres, 17, and Kevin Torres, 15, were taken into custody on October 7, 2025, after detectives executed a search warrant at a home on Bethlehem Road. During the search, officers seized:

  • A Palmetto State PA-15 AR pistol, chambered in .223
  • An AR-style pistol of unknown make or model with no serial number
  • A Palmetto State Armory Dagger 9mm handgun
  • A Glock 27 handgun
  • 64 rounds of assorted ammunition
  • 338 grams of vegetative cannabis
  • $753 in cash

Both juveniles have been charged with Minor in Possession of a Firearm (two counts) and Armed Possession of a Controlled Substance with Intent to Sell or Deliver.
