Traffic stop discovery leads to Tampa woman’s arrest

TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) — A woman was arrested on Saturday after a traffic stop in Hillsborough County led to the discovery of firearms, drugs, and drug paraphernalia, according to authorities.

The Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office reported that deputies initiated a traffic stop on a vehicle driven by 36-year-old Shena Clark at West Hillsborough Avenue and North Lois Avenue.

Deputies said that probable cause was made to search the vehicle during which they found the following:

  • 7.8 grams of cocaine
  • 4 grams of MDMA
  • 238 grams of cannabis
  • 4 digital scales
  • A black Ruger 9mmm Max-9 pistol
