A Tampa woman was arrested following a traffic stop that brought to light not just a stash of drugs but also a firearm. The stop, which took place on Saturday at the corner of West Hillsborough Avenue and North Lois Avenue, led to a search and an unsettling find: narcotics and a loaded gun. The Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office shared the incident details on their social media platforms.
According to the post, deputies decided to thoroughly search the vehicle after establishing probable cause. Inside, they discovered 7.8 grams of cocaine, 4 grams of MDMA, 238 grams of cannabis, four digital scales, and a black Ruger 9mm Max-9 pistol. Shena Clark, 36, the driver, was arrested and is facing serious charges.
