Pasco deputy hits 16-year-old on bicycle while driving car in Bayonet Point

PASCO COUNTY, Fla — A 16-year-old girl from Hudson was hit Wednesday evening in Bayonet Point by a Pasco deputy’s car while she was riding her bicycle, the Pasco Sheriff’s Office and the Florida Highway Patrol confirmed.

According to the Pasco Sheriff’s Office, the deputy “driving their agency vehicle was turning onto Little Rd. from Fivay Rd., when they struck a female juvenile riding a bicycle.”

The FHP said that the Pasco deputy was in the car and was preparing to make a right turn on red while the teenager was riding northbound on the sidewalk…
