A misadventure involving a group of Tampa teenagers ended with their arrest after they borrowed without permission a golf cart and led authorities on a brief chase. The Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office (HCSO) confirmed that the joint efforts of the ground deputies and the Aviation Unit facilitated the swift apprehension of the suspects once they ditched the golf cart and tried to escape on foot.
In a social media share that has locals talking, the HCSO remarked, “This is not the path we want to see our young people on,” as Sheriff Chronister emphasized the importance of nurturing the youth towards productive endeavors.
