Arrest made in ‘tragic’ hit-and-run that left woman dead, Tampa police say

TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) — A suspect was found and taken into custody a day after Tampa police said he hit and killed a pedestrian on North 50th Street and kept driving.

Detectives said evidence pointed to 30-year-old Jeramey Sanders as the person behind the wheel in the deadly hit-and-run crash.
