A French Bulldog puppy named King was taken during an armed burglary at a Brandon cellphone store at night. When the store owner confronted the suspects, three masked individuals left the scene. The Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office investigated and recovered the puppy. According to WFLA, detectives identified four suspects and executed a search warrant at the Westbury at Lake Brandon apartment complex shortly afterward.
The search ended with a discovery at approximately 12:27 a.m. Wednesday, when King was found hidden in a drawer. As per FOX13 News, the four suspects, identified through deputy body camera footage, were teenagers: two young adults—Tony Marshall, 19, and Deshaun Jenkins, 18—and a 17-year-old and a 15-year-old, whose names were not released due to their minor status.
