State of play: After temperatures warm up through this week, a cold front is expected to move across the East Coast next week, National Weather Service Tampa Bay meteorologist Christianne Pearce told Axios.
- While there’s still some disagreement about just how cold it will get, Pearce said, Tampa Bay temperatures will likely plunge into the 40s by Tuesday morning with daytime highs in the 60s.
- The region may see some rain on Sunday and Monday ahead of the front, Pearce said.
