Crisis Center of Tampa Bay offering support for people affected by government shutdown

TAMPA, Fla. — The Crisis Center of Tampa Bay is reminding residents that support is available for those affected by the ongoing government shutdown.

Wednesday is National Stress Awareness Day and officials are encouraging anyone who needs to talk to call 211, where staff are available 24/7.

When someone calls the line, the Gateway Contact Center answers the phone. Staff can provide immediate and confidential short-term crisis intervention and information and referrals in the Tampa Bay area…
