New hurricane assistance program aims to help struggling Tampa homeowners

TAMPA, Fla. – Tampa is rolling out the Homeowner Hurricane Assistance Program, a $2 million initiative aimed at helping residents in the hardest-hit neighborhoods.

City leaders said these are unrestricted general funds, giving the city more flexibility.
