Busch Gardens to open ‘one of the world’s most immersive animal habitats’ next year

TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) — “One of the world’s most immersive animal habitats” is coming to Busch Gardens next year, the park announced Wednesday.

“Lion & Hyena Ridge,” a nearly 35,000 square feet of dynamic savanna terrain, will feature a pride of five young lion brothers and a pair of hyenas.

The new area will offer guests 270-degree perspectives of the new habitat, Busch Gardens said.
