Tampa man faces charges after allegedly threatening federal officials

TAMPA, Fla. (WWSB) – A Tampa man is facing five years in prison for threatening federal officials.

A criminal complaint charges Robert Logan Shoecraft III, 34, with interstate communication of a threat to injure and kill.

According to the complaint, in May 2024, Shoecraft called the office of a member of the House of Representatives and left an offensive, expletive-laden voicemail which included, “we’re coming for you, we’re gonna [redacted] kill you.”…
