POLK COUNTY, Fla. – A 44-year-old New York man’s cross-country visit to the Sunshine State has hit a rather abrupt wall. Dustin Yannuzzi, hailing from the Empire State, was apprehended Friday evening in Polk County after a cooperative effort by local law enforcement brought his interstate flight to a halt.
The Florida Highway Patrol (FHP) had been actively seeking Yannuzzi, who was wanted on a warrant issued by Broome County, New York. The charges listed included Possession of Methamphetamine with Intent to Sell, Tampering with Evidence, Criminal Use of Drug Paraphernalia, and Fleeing to Elude—a significant list that likely spurred his trip south.
