14-year-old killed, 15-year-old critically injured in Tampa crash

TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) — The Tampa Police Department said three teenagers were involved in a crash Sunday night that ended with one dead and one in critical condition.

The crash happened at the intersection of E 93rd Avenue and N 20th Street at around 10:15 p.m. on Nov. 16, TPD said.

It involved two boys, ages 14 and 15, who were in a four-wheeler, and a 17-year-old boy who was driving a pickup truck.

Florida state offices will close for additional days this holiday season

Police said the four-wheeler failed to stop at a stop sign and collided with the truck. The 14-year-old was pronounced dead at the scene, and the 15-year-old was taken to a hospital where he remains in critical condition.
