TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) — A recent report named Tampa as the worst spot in the country for holiday traffic.
Consumer Affairs said it analyzed the 50 most populous areas and weighted them across four metrics: hours of congestion during the holidays, miles traveled during the holidays, fatal crashes on clear days and fatal crashes in bad weather.
The report showed that Tampa had the highest jump in congestion during the holidays, leaving drivers stuck in about four hours and 24 minutes of heavy traffic daily.
