TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA)— A retired K-9 with the Tampa Police Department has died, the police department announced.
K-9 Sniper began his service in 2016 alongside Corporal Nicholas Baez, where they formed a dual-certified team in patrol and explosive ordnance detection.
Sniper was born in the Czech Republic in 2014, and he served with courage and commitment until he retired in March 2020, TPD said.
