TAMPA, Fla. – A 75-year-old Tampa man died Thursday evening after walking into the path of an oncoming SUV on Hillsborough Avenue.
The crash occurred around 6:30 p.m. near the intersection of Town ‘N’ Country Boulevard. According to the Florida Highway Patrol, a Ford SUV driven by a 72-year-old Tampa man was traveling eastbound when the pedestrian attempted to cross the highway.
Troopers say the man entered the vehicle’s path and was struck. Emergency responders rushed the pedestrian to a local hospital, but he later succumbed to his injuries…
