TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) — Kristi Noem, the United States Secretary of Homeland Security, visited Tampa International Airport to thank employees for their work during the government shutdown.
According to the department’s website, Noem will be handing out $10,000 bonus checks to “TSA officers who displayed exemplary conduct during the shutdown.”
