TAMPA, Fla. – A midday shooting investigation is underway in Tampa after a wounded man stumbled into a local food store for help, and the alleged gunman turned himself in just minutes later.
Hillsborough County deputies rushed to the Stop N Save Food Store on Clewis Avenue around 11:30 a.m. Wednesday. Staff at the store had dialed 911 to report that a man had just walked through the front doors, claiming he had been shot.
Emergency responders transported the victim to Tampa General Hospital, but he did not survive his injuries…
