‘It’s negligent’: Customers returning from cruise say Tampa parking company lost their keys

TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) — People just trying to get home from a cruise Monday morning were left stranded waiting for their cars near Port Tampa Bay. Customers told 8 On Your Side the car service lost their keys.

“The trip was good. Ending the trip has not been good,” said Richard Woodson.

His family had a 10-hour ride home. They said it was delayed at least four more hours because of the 241 Car Services Parking company. Dozens of people were seen sitting on their suitcases in the lot on East Cumberland Avenue and South 12th street.

“I get off the ship, and I started walking to the original lot we parked it, and called and he was like, ‘No, turn around, come back to this lot.’ So I came to this lot and I’m like, I don’t see my car,” Woodson said…
