‘Ghost Ship’ On Road: Pasco Deputies Hunt For Suspect Who Ditched 25-Foot Boat In Holiday

HOLIDAY, Fla. — It is not every day residents see a 25-foot cabin cruiser parked on the grass, but that is exactly what Pasco County deputies are investigating after an illegal dumping incident just days before Christmas.

According to the Pasco Sheriff’s Office, an unknown suspect abandoned the large vessel on county property near the intersection of Gulf Trace Boulevard and Inlet Breeze Way on December 20.

Investigators have identified the boat as a 1988 Sea Ray Sorrento. Notably, the vessel bears registration numbers from Connecticut, adding a layer of mystery to how it ended up ditched on a Florida roadside.
