ST. PETERSBURG — A St. Petersburg man was arrested on Friday, December 26, 2025, after police said he took a lottery ticket from a lost wallet. He was later found in possession of cocaine, according to arrest affidavits filed in Pinellas County Circuit Court.
Police identified the defendant as Norman Isaac, 61, of St. Petersburg. He is charged with grand theft and possession of a controlled substance, both third-degree felonies under Florida law.
According to the affidavits, the incident occurred at approximately 4:41 p.m. on December 26 at a St. Petersburg business located at 1421 22nd Street South. Investigators state that Isaac was captured on store surveillance video picking up a wallet belonging to another person.
