‘Beginning of the End’ concert kicks of Crowbar’s final year in Ybor City

There might as well be a countdown clock above the front door to Crowbar. The storied Ybor City music venue celebrates 20 years in the historic district in 2026, and is quickly approaching its last day open since the lease is set to expire this summer.

It begins the end with a two-day mini festival of local talent, including the appropriately-named This Is Goodbye, a post-rock outfit featuring guitarist and luthier Mike Ingold along with bassist Sean Pomeroy and drummer Chris Croft.

Rising rock outfit Wolfgang Amadeus headlines night two, and go ahead and make plans to do a three-night stand at Crowbar since one of the Bay area’s premier turntablists, DJ Qeys, is on the bill Jan 4 for Church Sessions, a patio party born from the ashes of the venue’s long-running, recently-shuttered, Ol’ Dirty Sundays series…
