GIBSONTON, FL — After operating for years without a fixed address, The Wing Wagon has officially opened a permanent location at 11201 US Hwy 41 South, Gibsonton, FL 33534. Owners Lina Rosario and Frank Loubriel told Business Debut the move marks a major milestone for the business, which first launched as a food truck during the early months of the COVID-19 pandemic.
The Wing Wagon originally began operating in May 2020, serving wings and fries from an older truck that traveled to events and pop-ups throughout the area. Without a permanent home, the business relied on mobility and word of mouth, building a loyal following over several years. The new Gibsonton location allows customers to find the truck consistently in one place for the first time.
What to Expect
The Wing Wagon is centered around made-to-order chicken wings, which Rosario said were the inspiration behind starting the business. The menu has expanded over time to meet customer demand, especially from families looking for kid-friendly options.
In addition to wings, the menu includes homemade chicken nuggets, fries, loaded fries, and empanadas. Seating is limited but available, with tables, chairs, and shaded tent space set up for guests who want to eat on-site.
Menu and Vision
The wing menu features roughly 10 to 12 sauces, ranging from classics like buffalo and barbecue to options such as sweet chili, honey garlic, teriyaki, lemon pepper, Cajun spice, and orange bourbon. Wings can also be ordered naked, without breading or sauce…
