LAND O’ LAKES — Phase II of the Ridge Road Extension is on schedule, with the $85 million project continuing toward a tentative completion date in late 2026.
The extension will stretch 3.75 miles from North Sunlake Boulevard to Land O’ Lakes Boulevard/U.S. 41. Pasco County officials told the Land O’ Lakes Beacon the road will be open by then but will still require finishing work — most likely sidewalks and edge guards.
Phase II will form a new intersection with Connerton Boulevard, which completed its 1.1-mile extension to Ehren Cutoff in March 2025. The project will extend the four-lane divided highway already built from Moon Lake Road to the Suncoast Parkway, which was given a new exit. Ridge Road currently ends at North Sunlake Boulevard, which runs north to State Road 52 and leads to Angeline School Way, where Angeline Academy of Innovation is located…
